Hi,every1,here i am,writting my blog.Kind of lazy so didn't bother to update my blog at all!!! I jus came back from Hong Kong after a 5 days 4 nites there,of cos i went w my best frend,Shabi!We both loved the food n of cos the shopping there!Its summer sales now till end of August!Lots of nice clothings,shoes,accessories to buy!
Ours is a free n easy tour so we have all the time to ourselves to plan our programmes each day.Day 2 was a free city tour to places like,REPULSE BAY,THE STAR FERRY TERMINAL,etc......in the nite we took the ferry to c the nite view of Hong Kong,its really nice cos all the buildings were brightly lit up....after tat,we went to their TEMPLE STREET,whr they have operas,fortune telling,etc......
Day 3 onwards,we went arnd all by ourself,of cos w the map n one book (tat contains everythg abt HK).We took the MTR,stopped by at Mongkok-whr the famous Ladies' Market is!Of cos,we bought a few things from there lah.....like keychains,i n shabi we bought sandals n bags too,really lots of things to buy.but u hv to b prepare to walk n walk n squeeze w the crowds there!
After shopping,we stopped by to eat the fermented beancurd-i didnt wan to eat cos the smell puts me off,but shabi tried it n she said ok-better to eat w/o the sweet sauce then u can taste it!!!There r lots of small food stalls at every corners arnd the shops so lots of varieties for u to choose from.We really njoy the food there, will elaborate more later......
Be sure to order their ice lemon tea,v different from those in S'pore.They use crushed ice n put in 4-6 slices of lemon in it.Really refreshing if u drink it on a hot day....u will wan to order a 2nd cup after tat.....then we shopped at Hard Rock Cafe (Tsim sha Tsui)-shabi bought a cap n i bought a t-shirt 4 myself.We then took a bus from the Star ferry terminal to go to tis plc call Whampoa Gourmet place-its got 13 famous restaurants n eateries which r highly recommended by the gourmet king.So we oso dropped by Espirit-got great sale,so much cheaper than in S'pore .We bought bags=BAGS AGAIN!!!! Jus cant resist the temptation of buying.
4th to 5 th days,oso walked n walked arnd to hunt 4 nice desserts.We really njoyed ourselves even though we hv to bear w the scorching hot sun.We managed to buy their famous roast goose n oso "Lo Po Bang" or wifescake-nice pastry w winter melon in it,not so sweet!!!
I wouldn't mind to go back there again cos i really missed the food there.Of course not forgetting my great company-Shabi.Our next destination will be HOKKAIDO,next year July.Till then got to save up $$$$ first.
